Run your city on the right side of the rules.
Rockstar now owns the platform your server runs on and rewrote its licence on 10 September 2026. These tools check what you sell against it, estimate what your server really earns, and let you claim your listing. Everything except the claim form runs in your browser.
Licence check
Answer 11 questions. Nothing is sent anywhere. This is a plain-English reading of the licence, not legal advice; the clause numbers point you to the source.
- Do you sell in-game money (cash, chips, coins) for real money?
- Do you sell, or charge for access to, anything Rockstar made: a car, weapon, outfit or other item from the base game?
- Do you sell loot boxes, crates, spins, raffles or anything with a random outcome?
- Can players ever turn what they earn or win in your server back into real money?
- Does anything on your server use, sell or promote crypto, NFTs or tokens?
- Is your server run for, or paid by, a brand, or does it show sponsors or ads in-game?
- Do you resell other people's scripts, maps or assets to other server owners?
- Do you take any money outside Tebex (PayPal, Stripe, Patreon, crypto)?
- Does your server name, logo or branding use Rockstar names, logos or art?
- Does your website or store say "[server] is not approved, sponsored, or endorsed by Rockstar Games"?
- Does your website name who runs the server and give a working email?
